Just recieved my working holiday visa today, a relief to know that i havn't been declined and deported, yet. Im going to book my outoutwards flight tomorow for the 20th October, but probabily not the return as I would loose alot of money if I wanted to change my return flight later, plus open returns and Round The Worlds only tend to last for a year anyway.
My plans at the moment are to spend a couple of days in Christchurch then hed up north to the top of the south island to stay wiht frinds there, before working my way back down WWOOFing (Willing Workers On Organic Farms) so staying on a small holding and working for them and getting food and lodging in return. It looks really amazing and some of the places you can only access by boat once a week!
I'll give more info when I know. x
